I also wanted to take this opportunity to send out a heartfelt thank you to our regular blog readers who went over to leave a comment ( I recognised lots of you gals! :) Your support feeds our creativity on a daily basis! We were truly blown away by all of your messages and comments of kindness to the whole team involved in the book, all the artists involved are really proud and excited to be working with Jenny and Jo and its such a lovely thing to see such positive feedback and excitement about the project
Also very excited to let any of our locals in Waterford Ireland know that the book is due to hit the shelves of "The Book Centre" in John Roberts Square next week, especially flown in from the US for our Irish pals and my mam. :)

For a long time now I have tried to look after my clients in the shop. Offering larger orders nicities such as discounts, little gifts etc to show my appreciation for their custom. Its an artists dream to be supported in such way and I always feel really blessed to have return customers. These are the people that continue to come back and order pieces from me, those that really subscribe to my aesthetic. I try to look after these people.

So I have launched a loyalty club in my shop to do just that. With many special offers available its nice to see those that support my work get something back in return. ;)

Pictured above is a cuff on its way to one such client, having spent over 200dollars with me in one order! I hope it makes her feel appreciated.

So Im browsing through etsy the other evening (as ya do!) and I was researching for a new blog and came accross a wonderful seller called Morashajewelry. I just adore her style of work, it really compliments my signature time worn look and I fell head over heels with the leather cuff above. Its a fact that I don't ever wear commercial style jewelry, the type you see shining and gleaming in a jewelry shop but I do really love anything rustic, time worn, gypsyesque and this cuff was everything I enjoy for my own personal use. I know that there are still one or two of these babies to whip up so if you fancy one for yourself you can get one here.

The designer also sent me a message after purchasing and to top off an already perfect buy she was a really sweet person too! (THIS is exactly why etsy is so special, that client/seller bond that often happens, it really personal and just works!)

This Cuff was a gift made for the fabulous Di of DesignersBlockUk, its a truly inspirational blog by an inspirational woman! go check it out for sure! it would be one of the ones that I visit often to see whats new and trust me I am never disappointed guys!

This is the most recent cuff in my etsy boutique! I love the golden autumnal tones in this piece (even if I have missed the season by a mile!). I love the romantic nature of this one!

Lately I have been entertaining the idea of doing a big trunk show at the end of the year ( well lets face it a collection takes a lot of time to put together). Trunk shows are still very much an American phenomenon, but nonetheless for independent designers (such as myself) Ithink they are perfect!! Im still in the development stages, but certainly there is a little pep in my step about doing this event, so watch this space!

So I pop online the other night, as ya do, and I come across another one of my pieces sold, first of all I am thrilled and excited and then I realise that it is actually a fellow buddy of mine on Etsy, whom I have grown to love!!! She is an absolute howl and is just a great person to know. When I first started chatting in the forums on Etsy I met this lady and knew that she was from Ireland , but didn't realise that she was only 30 mins away from me!! I mean how small is this world, out of a site containing hundreds of thousands of people I met and became friends with someone only living down the road from me! (also baring in mind that Etsy is more based in America than in Europe!). Well she bought one of my pieces from me, and I will get a chance to see her wearing it next week over coffee!! oh the wonder of the world wide web .

(oh and if I don't post for a while send out the emergency services, not quite sure if this ones a lunatic for real just yet!!! ) lol.............only kidding (no seriously!) :)
